Therapist Profile (Important Updates In effect March 2021)

Dear current and pending clients,

Thank you for your interest in my services. Please note that I’ve decided to discontinue my registration as a Psychotherapist with the College of Registered Psychotherapists of Ontario effective March 2021 as I am now semi-retired and have downsized my practice somewhat. Consequently, my services may no longer be covered by your insurance plan so best to check in advance if you hope to make a claim.

To help, I have reduced my direct fee for service by 10% to $90.00 per hour session (in office). 35 min. phone sessions are $50.00. I retain membership with the Ontario Association of Mental Health Professionals. I am a graduate of The University of London / Imperial College of Science, Technology, & Medicine, York University, and Seneca College in addition to acquiring extensive ongoing training throughout my career.

I have worked as a professional therapist in the mental health field for over 35 years and have been the recipient of several awards for community service. In addition to my private practice, I am pleased to have worked in various community and hospital settings over the years providing counselling, training, consulting, case management, and supervision of various clinical teams.

Further, serving First Responders has also been and continues to be a particularly satisfying part of my career. I am a proud member of The Royal Canadian Legion and The Royal Canadian Air Force Association. Sincerely and best wishes.

 T.R. Hosier
